Chartiers Creek Cleanup Day!

We are ready for a great day cleaning up our watershed! With that said, we want all vounteers to have a fun, safe experience! On September 3rd, bring a friend or two to clean with, hydrate the day before and day of (it may be VERY hot), and protect against sun exposure! Although we will be providing bags, gloves, water, snacks, sunscreen and other items, you are encouraged to come as prepared as possible. 

If you have the following items, Please consider bringing with you:

• Water Bottle and Snacks
• Sunscreen/Sun Protection/Bug Spray
• Gloves & Heavy Duty Trash Bags
• Light Yard Equipment if comfortable using ie. pruners, saws, weed whackers, etc.
• Kayak or Canoe (Canonsburg Lake & Canonsburg Locations Only)(water level dependent)
• anything else you can think of!

Brewery Socials

Whenever you finish with your cleanup, bring your trash back to one of the three registration area dumpsters or alert organizers for a pickup.  The participating venues have speicals for volunteers including a complimentary beverage at each location, Please visit them and support their support of the event! The participating local consevation groups will be set up to vist and share their initiatives.
