Projects in TMCWA
Morris Township Park Enhancements
Morris Township is developing a new ADA walking trail at the Morris Township Community Park. This project will also evenvtually include handicap accessible fishing docs, and a covered pedestrian bridge. This project is primarily funded through a PA DCNR Grant. Additionally, TMCWA granted $5,000 towards this project via it's community grant's program with funding from an in-liu-fee penalty paid by Range Resources to the Washington County Watershed Alliance. WCWA was chosen as a responsible local nonprofit entity to manage the penalty money that would have otherwise went to the state government. TMCWA is a member Watershed Association of the Washington County Watershed Alliance.
