Washington Spring Clean 2023: WATERSHED WASHUP May27th 8AM-12PM

The Washington County Cleanup Days is a county-wide initiative to clean up our county! 

We have three events this spring. 

March 25th - Ramps and Roads -COMPLETED! 2000 LBS. TRASH REMOVED

April 15th - Parks and Playgrounds- COMPLETED! 1500 LBS. TRASH REMOVED 

May 27th - Watershed Wash Up

This registration is for our third clean-up day on MAY 27th from 8AM-12PM. This day is to focus on cleaning up and working on our local watersheds!

The main Cleanup is taking place on Catfish Creek in the City of Washington & Canton Townships. We're focusing on the area from Brookside Avenue to Berthel Avenue. We'll be setting up at the bend on Brookside Avenue, Street Parking is available throughout the neighborhood.  This area has TONS of trash to cleanup so it's an all hands on deck situation. We'll be clearing paths to get to the trash, and cleaning up illegal dumping all along the creek. This property hasn't been touched in DECADES. Check out the photos on facebook! We could use about 50 people to make this a manageable effort. We'll be loading the garbage on trailers and hauling it up to Canton Township's Cleanup Days. Thank you to Canton Township for letting us use their dumpsters for this cleanup!!!

We want to encourage safe and fun clean-up efforts.

We ask that you complete our registration and liability waiver and read the instructions so everyone can have a fun, safe, organized, and productive time!
